Q: What is the difference between Shared and Dedicated Servers?
A: SPELLNET's shared environment consists of a constellation of servers that hosts directory, database, email, ftp,
and web sites with multiple virtual client sites on the same physical machine. Clients are not allowed administrative access to shared
servers, and client apps are closely monitored to assure that they do not have a negative impact on shared resources.
Q: What is the difference between Standard Hosting and Managed Services Hosting?
A: Standard hosting consists of a package of related services delivered using the shared environment at a lower
monthly cost. These packages are a great way for small business to establish a web presence.
Managed Services Hosting consists of a highly customized array of networking, servers, software, and professional services designed
to build and support demanding web applications and secure, scalable Internet business portals. In this arrangement, SPELLNET manages
the Internet data center and works closely with our client's in-house IT department and developers to build the client's on-line business.
Q: What is the difference between Standard and Deluxe Hosting packages?
A: While we do not profess to be simply the lowest cost alternative, our standard packages are aggressively priced to
provide our clients with the greatest overall value. Our deluxe packages cost more but include a larger amount of storage for web, ftp, and
database content, email support, and tech support.
Q: What is the difference between standard support and SPELLNET Concierge?
A:
SPELLNET Concierge represents a personal, yet thoroughly professional approach to IT support services for you and your family. We are proposing
to learn how you use the technology in your office(s), home(s), boat, aircraft, etc. and assign an IT professional to work with you one-on-one.
To facilitate that, we will install our Synergy Communications package on all of your devices so that you can contact your personal IT assistant
in a single click.
IT Assist is divided into 3 categories: Network Assist to get you and your equipment connected regardless of location; Computer and Mobile Device Assist to protect your
data and make your equipment manageable; and Digital Media and Smart Home Assist to unlock the full potential of your digital lifestyle.
